Hunting activities are promoted within the club for those shooters who like to extend their clay target skills or for shooters who just enjoy the hunting experience. The primary focus on hunting is on pest mitigation including:
  • Rabbits;
  • Foxes; and
  • Ducks.
The Hunting and Habitat Committee also arrange or provide hunting associated activities for members including:
  • Waterfowl Identification Training, with a view to passing the Waterfowl Identification Test (WIT) – a WIT certificate is a prerequisite for game bird hunting in a number of states;
  • Hunter Education testing in line with the NSW Department of Primary Industries Restricted Licence provisions; and
  • General shotgunning and hunting information.
