The Canberra International Clay Target Club is recognised as a NSW DPI Approved Hunting Organisation under the Game and Feral Animal Control Act 2002.

Canberra International Clay Target Club offers members and non members Hunter Accreditation Courses with a view to obtaining a “Restricted NSW Game Hunting Licence” (R-Licence). Training is based on the NSW DPI Hunter Leap Education Program which is designed to be used by:

  • individuals, clubs and organisations as a learning guide for the reinforcement of the knowledge of hunting;
  • persons entering into the cultural activity of hunting for the first time; and
  • those who wish to increase their knowledge of other facets of hunting in which they have not participated or simply wish to learn about.

The R-licence will provide qualified members with access to hunt on declared public land in NSW for a range of introduced feral animals including:

  • foxes
  • rabbits;
  • goats;
  • pigs; and
  • wild deer.

Access to this licence is only possible through membership of Approved Hunting Organisations.

The fee to attend the Accreditation Process through Canberra International Clay Target Club is as follows
