Club Facilities

Club House

The club house is a modern building with a verandah on three sides. Windows on the southern side provide a good view of the skeet/down the line layout and the grounds in general.

During winter, the wood fired heater provides a pleasant rural atmosphere as well as much needed warmth between rounds.

In summer, the verandah is a popular spot to watch the shooting events as they progress and to catch the summer breeze.

Canteen

A well equipped canteen is contained within the main club house. The canteen operates at most shoots with a modest arrangement of food for sale. Self service tea and coffee making facilities are provided for the use of patrons.

Camping

Onsite camping is permitted at the grounds with prior notice and approval. A separate shower and toilet block (unisex) is also available along with mains power connection.

Shooting Grounds

  • Simulated Field
Simulated field is shot over a number of areas on the site from open, undulating, grassed country to areas of pine forest and eucalypt trees. The time of year and associated weather patterns usually dictate the location. A variety of targets are thrown including standard, mini, midi, battue and rabbit.
  • ACTA Disciplines

There are a number of disciplines shot at the club during different events throughout the year. There are four Down The Line, one Trench, one Ball Trap and one Double Trap layouts.

  • Skeet
There are four skeet layouts with two sets of working traps, both of which can operate either American Skeet or ISSF Skeet.
