Trench

ISSF Trap, or commonly known as trench, is the Olylmpic discipline of trap shooting. The club holds regular competition and practice shoots on its trench layout.

Trench has a high degree of difficulty and can be challenging for new and skilled shooters.

The layout is based on a five stand system set at 15 metres in a straight line behind a bank of traps. The traps are set into the ground and the top of the trap house is at ground level. Inside the trap house is 15 traps, three for each of the five stands. Each trap is set to a predetermined height, angle and distance, varying from machine to machine.
